ACPAA's Mission: Alamo City Performing Arts Association (ACPAA) helps aspiring dancers to have an opportunity to experience working with professionals from all over the country; while also learning how a stage and performance works from beginning to end. This includes the production backstage, costuming requirements, dedication to practices, stage terminology, and stage presence. We have a wide range of dancers from professional to special needs who love and enjoy being both performers and audience members. We uniquely have been part of San Antonio’s history since 1992 and have the longest produced family friendly Nutcracker; 25 years running. We continue to study in more than traditional ballet and include dances like Scottish Highland, Belly Dance, Flamenco, Folklorico that are essential to San Antonio’s history and culture.
ACPAA Inc. and the Alamo City Dance Company are non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations. All donations are tax-deductible. Your donations are used for new costumes, scenery, choreography, direction, master classes and guest artist fees.
We truly value our patrons and if you are not currently a member, we hope that you would consider joining our organization so we may develop and see our future plans come to fruition with your support! If you are currently a member, THANK YOU for being a member of our family and THANK YOU for your continued support of the Alamo City Dance Company.
