Elementary Program

Designed for students of all ages with one or more years of ballet experience
Suggested for students aged 8 to 11, the Elementary program is designed to introduce students to a range of dance styles including ballet, tap, and jazz. Male-identifying students are also eligible to take Boys Class. At this stage in training, the objective of classes becomes specific to the style of dance, developing unique vocabularies, approaches to movement, and aesthetic preferences across classes. All classes at this level are one-hour in duration, but classes of different styles may be back-to-back. It is recommended that Elementary students take at least 3 hour-long classes per week, one of which must be ballet. It is not recommended that students take more than 5 technique classes in a week, as this can lead to fatigue and burn-out.
Class offerings for Elementary Program:
Ballet - Monday 5-6PM
Jazz - Monday 6-7PM
Boys Class - Tuesday 5-6PM
Tap - Tuesday 6-7PM
Ballet - Saturday 9-10AM
