About the Big Give
Since 2014, The Nonprofit Council has been proud to present Big Give- a 24-hour online giving day that helps connect South Central Texas nonprofits with new and existing donors. Since 2014 Big Give has helped organizations raise over $45 million from hundreds of thousands individual donors.
Consider donating during the 11th minute of each hour and your donation will be matched by the many generous sponsors of the Big Give! Only have $10 to give? Turn that into a $20.00 donation by donating during the 11th minute of each hour (e.g. 6:11, 8:11, 12:11)!

Alamo City Arts is dedicated to inclusive education in the art of dance, theater and music; in order to help instill and perpetuate a genuine appreciation of the performing arts in our community through educational and performance opportunities alongside professional artist. It is our initiative to support Alamo City Dance Company, Alamo City Symphony Viva, Alamo City Stage Company, Ballet Folklorico de Alamo City Arts, Heart of Texas Concert Band and Memory Lane Dance Band productions. Alamo City Arts Academy, trains aspiring young and professional artist through a multitude of disciplines of dance with a safe and positive learning environment.
- Community Outreach program - offering free classes to title 1 schools, collaborations with many other non-profit organizations
- Alamo City Arts Academy renovations - building out a third studio, allowing us to offer a more diverse array of classes for students of all ages and skill levels
- Alamo City Arts productions - producing over 30 productions year round put on by Alamo City Dance Company, Alamo City Symphony Viva, Alamo City Stage Company, Ballet Folklorico de Alamo City Arts and Heart of Texas Concert Band
