About the Big Give 

Since 2014, The Nonprofit Council has been proud to present Big Give- a 24-hour online giving day that helps connect South Central Texas nonprofits with new and existing donors. Since 2014 Big Give has helped organizations raise over $45 million from hundreds of thousands individual donors.

  • $6 - Provide Water for our Academy students for ONE WEEK!
  • $10 - Purchase snacks for our Academy students for ONE WEEK!
  • $25 - Purchase leotard, skirt and tights for a girl on Scholarship
  • $65 - Provide folklorico shoes and skirt for a girl on Scholarship
  • $72 - Give the give of dance to a girl for ONE MONTH!

About Alamo City Arts 
Your donation to Alamo City Arts helps us make a lasting impact in the performing arts community, including:
  • Community Outreach program - offering free classes to title 1 schools, collaborations with many other non-profit organizations
  • Alamo City Arts Academy renovations - building out our 4th studio, allowing us to offer a more diverse array of classes for students of all ages and skill levels
  • Alamo City Arts productions - producing over 70 productions year round put on by Alamo City Dance Company, Alamo City Symphony Viva, Alamo City Stage Company, Alamo City Ballet Folklorico and Heart of Texas Concert Band, including Free performances for Schools, Military Families and Senior Communities.​
Alamo City Arts is dedicated to inclusive education in the art of dance, theater and music; in order to help instill and perpetuate a genuine appreciation of the performing arts in our community through educational and performance opportunities alongside professional artist. It is our initiative to support Alamo City Dance Company, Alamo City Symphony Viva, Alamo City Stage Company, Alamo City Mariachi Academy, Alamo City Ballet Folklorico,  Heart of Texas Concert Band and Memory Lane Dance Band productions.  Alamo City Arts Academy, trains aspiring young and professional artist through a multitude of disciplines of dance with a safe and positive learning environment.
