Alamo City Arts and Fort Sam Houston have a holiday gift for our military community. We are presenting the Nutcracker free to any DOD, military ID cardholders, and dependents! This will not be open to civilians and will take place at Fort Sam Houston Theater but you can join us on the 21st and 22nd at Our Lady of the Lake's Thiry Auditorium. This production will feature Alamo City Dance Company. Two showtimes on December 14th at 2:00 & 7:00 PM. Doors open 45 minutes before showtime with general admission seating. Let's celebrate the holiday season together with the magic of Alamo City Arts Nutcracker!

In 2018, Eva's Heroes asked Alamo City Arts and Alamo City Dance Company to create a sensory friendly Nutcracker that featured the incredible individuals that participate in their amazing organization. Now in our 2024 production we look forward to adding more magic with Eva's Heroes!
This abridged version of the classic tale tells the story of Clara and her sister receiving a Nutcracker on Christmas Eve! They take a magical journey through a snowy forest in to the Land of Sweets and meet many new friends along the way! Music volume and lighting are adapted to accommodate everyone! On behalf of Alamo City Arts and Alamo City Dance Company, please join us for this beautiful production as we remember that sometimes we all need a little Christmas. Alamo City Arts is proud to present Alamo City Dance Company's 32nd annual production of The Nutcracker December 21st and 22nd at the beautiful Thiry Auditorium located on the campus of Our Lady of the Lake University.
This classical holiday tale will feature a cast of over 85 performers in over 160 roles, all accompanied by live orchestration from Alamo City Symphony Viva! Tickets range from $30-$45 depending on your seats location and parking at Thiry Auditorium is always free! |
