Beatrix Potter 2023 Cast Members,
Congratulations on being cast in Alamo City Arts spring production, The Tales of Beatrix Potter featuring Alamo City Dance Company and Alamo City Symphony Viva.
This page provides information about rehearsal policies, performance fees, sponsorship opportunities, schedules, and other important production information.  Please review it carefully and use it as a reference for any question regarding the production.

Casting decisions are made based on multiple factors including a dancer’s availability, technical skills, and height. Please remember that the cast and roles of this production are constantly evolving.  We always welcome understudies because parts may change at any time for any reason.  It is Alamo City Arts’ policy that you accept all your roles or none of your roles.  If there are extenuating circumstances and you feel you cannot meet the demands of your parts, we will be happy to work with you, however the Artistic staff will decide where to pull back on roles.  If you have questions or concerns about casting, please schedule a time to meet with us and we would be happy to discuss.
Because rehearsing is critical to the success of any performance, and to the safety of the performers, it is important for cast members to attend all rehearsals.  If you must miss a rehearsal, please notify the production team as soon as you know that you are going to be absent.  Alamo City Dance Company’s production policy is that any performer who misses three rehearsals will be replaced.
Due to the small size of the cast, there is no performance fee for The Tales of Beatrix Potter, however donations are always greatly appreciated.  These donations will directly support the production and off set the costs of new costumes and scenery rentals.
Alamo City Arts also welcomes local businesses to support our productions by offering advertising space in our playbill Alamo City Arts Spotlight which is distributed to patrons throughout our production season. Alamo City Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax deductible. For additional information about sponsorship, advertising opportunities, and pricing, please visit www.alamocityarts.org.
Alamo City Dance Company holds auditions throughout the year for various productions and we welcome all dancers to participate. For more information about upcoming productions please visit our website at www.alamocityarts.org.
Thank you again for being a part of our spring production of The Tales of Beatrix Potter.  Please consider becoming a member of Alamo City Performing Arts Association today and be part of an organization committed to developing and advancing quality performing arts in San Antonio.
Sincerely,
