Summer Interns
Interested in the performing arts, nonprofit work, or event production and logistics? Alamo City Arts is now accepting applications for our Summer Internship Program!
Program Duration: June - August 2026
Our interns gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of arts administration and nonprofit operations. Opportunities include event logistics and production coordination, social media and digital marketing, corporate sponsorship support, video and photography content creation, and data organization and systems development.
Interns will also support major events and productions including our America 250 Concert, Cenicienta rehearsal and backstage operations, and Make Music San Antonio coordination. This comprehensive program provides valuable real-world experience in the performing arts industry while contributing to meaningful community programming.

TAP INSTRUCTOR:
Alamo City Arts Academy is looking for an experienced tap instructor for our intermediate, advanced and adult students for Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Qualified candidates will have experience in teaching tap at these skill levels, strong customer service skills and be reliable. Certifications a plus. Must be able to pass a background check.

Alamo City Arts Academy is looking for an experienced dance basics instructor for our Creative Movement classes, designed for ages 3-5. Qualified candidates will have experience working with children, strong ballet and tap technique, strong customer service skills and be reliable. Certifications a plus.
