Military Appreciation Performance

​Alamo City Arts is proud to announce its enchanting production of FairyTale Theater, featuring the beloved classics "Peter and The Wolf" and "Little Red Riding Hood," set to captivate audiences at the historic Fort Sam Houston Theater in conjunction with the Harlequin Theater. This magical performance will showcase the talents of the renowned Alamo City Dance Company alongside students from the esteemed Alamo City Arts Academy.
 
FairyTale Theater promises an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages, as timeless tales come to life on stage through captivating choreography, vibrant costumes, and immersive storytelling. Audiences will be transported to enchanted forests and whimsical worlds, where bravery, adventure, and magic abound.
 
In a special gesture of appreciation, Alamo City Arts is offering this performance free of charge to military personnel and their families. This includes all active duty, reserve, National Guard, DOD civilians, and their families, as a token of gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

Alamo City Arts is proud to announce its latest production, FairyTale Theater, featuring enchanting performances of "Peter and The Wolf" and an original production of "Little Red Riding Hood." This captivating event will take place at Alamo Heights Junior High School on May 11th, 2024, with performances at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
FairyTale Theater brings together the talent of Alamo City Dance Company and students from Alamo City Arts Academy for an unforgettable theatrical experience. Audiences will be transported into the magical worlds of these beloved fairy tales through stunning choreography and mesmerizing performances.
"Little Red Riding Hood" is a completely original production, crafted with care and creativity by the talented team at Alamo City Arts with music by Eloise Gynn.  This fresh take on the classic fairy tale promises to delight audiences with its unique twists and imaginative storytelling.
Adding to the magic of the evening will be live music provided by the acclaimed Alamo City Symphony Viva, under the direction of Dr. Joe Kneer, enhancing the storytelling with their dynamic and evocative melodies.
