Kimberly Zoeller, co-principal trumpet
Kimberly Zoeller is a freelance professional trumpet player in the San Antonio and South Texas area. Holding a Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Masters of Education with an
Emphasis in Kodaly from Texas State University. Kimberly performs a
variety of styles including orchestral, chamber, commercial and jazz. She
is currently performing with Alamo City Symphony Viva, San Antonio
Brass Band, and the Westover Brass Quintet. In addition to orchestral
work, she enjoys playing Repiano with the San Antonio Brass Band (SABb).
In 1987 Kim was awarded the honor of being the San Antonio United Way Musical Representative. Past performances include the San Antonio Jazz Orchestra, the San Antonio Brass, San Antonio Symphony Pops, Lone Star Philharmonic, Opryland San Antonio, Fiesta Texas Six Flags San Antonio and she has been a founding member of several brass quintets in theSouth Texas area. In 2018 Kimberly competed with the newly formed San Antonio Brass Band at the North American Brass Band Competition where they placed 1st in Section One. Teachers include Dr. John Carroll and Jan Roller of the San Antonio Symphony, workshops with Malcolm McNabb, David Bilger, Mike Zonshine and Bert Truax.
