Norma Martinez, principal cello
Norma Martinez is a native of El Paso and resident of San Antonio since Dec 2016. She is an employee of Texas Public Radio where she hosts Morning Edition and Fronteras. Norma earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the University of Texas at El Paso. She spent over two decades performing with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra and played for several years with the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra (New Mexico). Norma has played with Symphony Viva since 2019.
